The carpet has made a big come back in the last couple of years, they have full rails, loads of volume and a flatter rocker, all this adds up to a cruisey old school style surfboard, ideal for British summer waves,

The Carpet and Egg are very similar boards, the only real difference is the nose template, if you are used to surfing longboards the carpet will feel more familiar, althought the egg will be easier to duck dive.
