howler_longboard_logo.jpg

Hot, hot, hot. Twitchy - it's a long shortboard! Keep your foot planted over the thrusters.

The howler is out there on it's own, it's deigned for large surf, it's difficult to nose ride due to the fin setup although the type of surfer that surfs a board like this can probably nose ride a baking tray.

Fin Setup: 3 equal size thruster fins

Rails: 80/20 hard

Bottom Shape: Flat to V or slight V to double concave or single concave to double concave

10_plus_longboard_logo.jpg

Size is everything. Longboards are getting longer, 10' to 12' in length 24" to 25" wide, 3 1/2" to 4" thick.

Getting up and riding early on a crowded day can give you a high wave count and turn a frustrating surf into a brilliant surf, more and more surfers are getting 10' plus longboards in their quiver so that they can be ahead of the game on those small days. This isn't the only reason to have a 10' board of course, there are plenty of surfers that are 16stone and above that would benefit from a 10' board.

Typical dimensions: 10'6" x 19 ½" x 24" x 15" x 3 ½"
Fin Setup: Big Daddy single

Rails: 50/50

Bottom Shape: Rolled Vee

Tail: Square
Prices start from £595.00
