Semi guns are something between a shortboard a full gun, great for those punchy four to six foot days, a must if you're traveling, when you walk down the beach with one of these under your arm your heart should be beating a little harder than normal!

Full guns or Rhino chasers as the Hawwains call them are for serious waves, if you want to surf big waves 8 foot plus then a full gun is a must, getting in early on a big wave isn't half as frightening as you may think..
